    Living Books for Early American History (1000s-1680s)

    We’re dedicated living book fans. Life is too short to learn from textbooks. We like to choose to learn from books written by someone intimately familiar with the chosen historical period, perhaps from that period themself, and usually with beautiful illustrations to further ignite our imaginations. These are some of our favorite books we enjoyed last year when we studied early American history, the 1000’s through about the 1680’s.     5 Relatable Parenting Books for Homeschoolers

    When I go out for a Mom’s Night Out, I always throw one or two books in my bag. You never know when everyone else won’t show and it’ll be just be me… Alone… In a coffeehouse… With no interruptions. Seriously though, we’re responsible for educating these children and for molding them (or trying to, at least) into responsible adults. But, since we are still surrounded by children (and their messes), we don’t have tons of time. That’s why we need practical and relatable parenting books.
